Meet Niouma Semega: a trailblazer redefining what’s possible for women in STEM! 💡✨ At just 23, she’s already a force to be reckoned with—earning a PhD in Environmental Health, leading groundbreaking projects tackling environmental health disparities across Africa, and mentoring the next generation of Black and women of color in STEM through her nonprofit, SemegaChange.

From winning the Victoria’s Secret PINK GRL PWR Sustainability Award to developing a patented invention that extracts pollutants from water—earning her international acclaim—Niouma is proof that ambition and purpose can change the world. 🌍💪

Her work spans continents, from increasing professional development for girls in Tanzania to mentorship programs in Nigeria and transformative projects in the DRC. Niouma is breaking barriers, smashing ceilings, and proving that age is no limit when you’re driven by a mission to empower and uplift others.
